It has survived not only five centuries, but also the leap into electronic typesetting, remaining essentially unchanged. It was popularised in the 1960s with the release of Letraset sheets containing Lorem Ipsum passages, and more recently with desktop publishing software like Aldus PageMaker including versions of Lorem Ipsum.
1. Price Information
All prices are shown are exclusive of VAT. Goods will be charged in Pounds Sterling. We reserve the right to change prices during the year if necessary.
2. Delivery Information
Minimum order value is £50.
A charge of £9.50 will be applied to all UK orders under £325 goods value delivered to a business address.
Orders over £325 goods value will be sent carriage free to a UK business address on our normal 2 day delivery service.
All overseas orders will be sent by carrier or air post unless otherwise specified and charged at cost.
Our prices are based on delivering goods in bulk to one address.
Charles Buyers & Co Ltd carries extensive stocks of all products. If however, certain items are not available on receipt of order, we will supply all that is available from stock and invoice accordingly.
Out of stock items will be listed at bottom of invoice.
3. Account Information
New customers will receive a proforma invoice and goods will be despatched on receipt of payment .
A 30 days credit account may be opened for future orders at the discretion of the directors and subject to receipt of satisfactory references.
For Account customers, failure to settle within 30 days may result in the following orders reverting to payment in advance.
Charles Buyers & Co Ltd reserves the right to suspend or cancel future deliveries on overdue accounts.
All collection fees incurred by us regarding the recovery of overdue accounts will be passed on to the customer. We reserve the right to charge interest on overdue accounts at a rate of 1.25% per month.
Also note new VAT regulations will be applied. Goods are only despatched to non-UK customers on receipt of payment.
4. Export Information
Charles Buyers & Co Ltd exports worldwide.
All export orders are supplied on a proforma basis.
EU currency customers will be charged in Euros unless otherwise requested.
E.E.C customers will not be charged VAT if a valid VAT number is given. If a VAT number cannot be provided then UK VAT will be applied.
All export orders will be sent by carrier or air post unless otherwise specified and charged at cost.
Shipments may be subject to import duties and taxes, which are levied once a shipment reaches its destination country. Any charges related to customs clearance must be borne by the recipient. We have no control over these charges. Customs policies vary from country to country; please contact your local customs office if you have any queries.
5. Payments
Payments can be made by Bank Transfer or Credit/Debit Card Our payment terms are 30 days from date of invoice. We reserve the right to charge interest on overdue accounts at a rate of 1.25% per month.
6. Title of Goods
All good remain the property of Charles Buyers & Co Ltd until paid for in full.
7. Returns & Errors
Damage, breakages or any discrepancies must be notified within 14 days from receipt of goods.
If there is a problem with your goods, please contact us by email or phone.
Do not return good without authorisation from our office.
If Charles buyers & Co Ltd supply your order incorrectly in any way, customers must contact Charles Buyers & Co Ltd immediately providing full details of the order date and invoice number.
8. Copying
Please note all Charles Buyers & Co Ltd products and designs are protected design right or copyright. Any designs that are in breach of copyright legislation will be prosecuted.
9. Registered Trademarks
Charles Buyers & Co Ltd is the owner of the registered trademarks Charles Buyers, Heathergems, The Sgian Dubh Company, and Ziggy and is the owner of copyright, design right and registered designs including logos, jewellery designs, marketing and packaging materials. The customer shall ensure that the trademark is used solely in accordance with Charles Buyers & Co Ltd instructions. The selling of the goods shall give the customer no rights to Charles Buyers & Co Ltd intellectual property and the customer is not authorised to register any company names, trademarks or domain names that contain words identical or similar to the Charles Buyers & Co Ltd trademarks.
10. Confidential
We do not store any customers credit card information. Customer information will be stored by the company and credit information may be shared for monitoring and administration purposes.
11. Restrictions on sale of goods
Charles Buyers & Co Ltd reserves the right to restrict the sale of goods if a customer is in breach of or terms of sales.
